I've asked "Support" that a "I got it" button should appear in the Official messages after you read them once so the Message Center icon doesn't keep on flashing all day long which is a real waste of time you checking for new messages ( and annoying ) but my request got completely ignored :(
definitely a must, the message button flashing all the time drives you up the wall (unhappy)
